Terms of Service
ngnote is in private invite-only beta. This page summarizes the basic terms of using it today. A full terms-of-service document with the legal specifics will replace it before the public launch.
The service today
ngnote is a thinking and outlining tool. Access during the beta is invite-only and granted at our discretion. There is no charge for use during this period.
Your account
- One person, one account. Don't share your sign-in.
- You are responsible for what you put into ngnote.
- We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use ngnote to:
- Distribute spam, malware, or illegal content.
- Impersonate others or interfere with the service for other users.
- Scrape, automate, or stress the service beyond reasonable personal use.
- Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to bypass our security or rate limits.
Beta-specific notes
- We may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice.
- Data loss can happen. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
- We may reach out about your usage to learn what works and what doesn't.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into ngnote. You grant us the minimal rights needed to operate the service for you — storing, syncing, displaying — and nothing more. We don't mine or sell your content.
Limits of liability
ngnote is provided as-is during the beta period. No warranty, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms before the public launch. Material changes will be sent to your sign-in email at least seven days before they take effect.

This is a placeholder. ngnote is in private beta and this page exists so we can link to a real URL from sign-in consent screens, the app's footer, and the marketing site. A proper terms-of-service document will replace it before we open to the public.
